Manchester Bidwell Corporation is holding our annual RADical Days Open House this Thursday, October 1 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm. We will offer ASL interpretation for a 3D Printing Demo from our Youth & Arts Program, as well as a one hour jazz concert. 27 people participated the Paint Night for fundraiser to PAD/GPCCD Women’s softball team. The host said, This was by far the MOST enlightening Paint Nite I have taught thus far. I worked with an interpreter for the first time with a culture I have never before been submerged in. I may have had more fun than they did! Great Job PAD!!! Click below to view the gallery.

Hello members & friends,
I am very exciting that we are now half way of year!! We have a lot of things to do before winter comes! I believe our membership has grown and teamwork has been stronger. I am looking forward to more events coming up for remaining of 5 month.
I am sure you all have been on vacation, or spending time with your family as its summer time. I am proud to say that Angel, my wife just gave a birth to baby boy, Jasper James last June 26th, he is doing extremely well. We are enjoying every moment with our son! congrats to others who are currently pregnant or gave a birth. Kids are wonderful and our future generation for our club!!!!
The (POS) Point of sale cashier has arrived last June 1st and we have been using it and love it! We currently can use credit or debit on that machine. Stop by and enjoy chatting with your friends!

GPCCD women softball team, Yinzers are aiming to go to the National Softball Association of the Deaf tournament in California in August 2016! To raise funds, we are happy to host a paint night party at P.A.D. A sign language interpreter (Vickie D’Avanzo) will be provided. Bring your friends and family!
PAD will have appetizers and a bartender if you’re up for some drinks.

I am pleased to inform you that the Allegheny County Health Department will be offering a Food Protection Managers Certification seminar with a Deaf and Hearing Impaired Interpreter and we would like to personally notify you of this opportunity.
The dates of the course are August 3 and 10, 2015. This is a two-day seminar being held at the North Hills Senior High School, 53 Rochester Road, West View (details can be found on our website: http://www.achd.net/food/food-cert-course-schedule.html). Please complete the registration form and remit with payment to ACHD Food Safety Program at least 2 weeks prior to the course.
