ENJOYING THE SUPER BOWL
This picture is featured in front page of Pittsburgh Post-Gazette newspaper on Monday, February 4, 2019. From the caption of the photo:
Bernard Rolewitz, 90, of Gibsonia, second from right, and Chris Noschese, 70, of Forest Hills, right, react Sunday after the New England Patriots’ first score against the Los Angeles Rams as they watch the Super Bowl at Pittsburgh Association of the Deaf in Uptown. This room was quiet but animated with excited sign language as about 85 people in the deaf community gathered to watch the game at the club. “You see all different kinds of people here,” Mr. Noschese signed, as interpreted by Jean Toner. “Very diverse. Young, old, different ethnicities, but we’re all close-knit. Like a family.” The Patriots won, 13-3, typing the Steelers for most Super Bowl championships at six.

Message Body:
Good morning, my name is Joan and I am the Executive Director at Arden Courts
Memory Care Community in the North Hills. One of our residents, Frances
“Jojo” Trozzo, is a member of your club from my understanding. He is
a lovely man who is so patient with my staff when it comes to communicating
with them, however the evenings tend to be lonely for him (6pm to 9pm). I am
trying to put together a group of volunteers who sign and would be able to
visit with him during those hours, even for just a few of those hours.
Do you have any volunteer resources I would be able to contact, or are any of
your members interested in volunteering to visit with this lovely man?
Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,
Joan
