A comment from Cassia Sakmar
Hello!
My name is Cassia Sakmar and I am the Marketing and Public Relations Coordinator at the Pittsburgh Playhouse.
I wanted to reach out as Point Park University’s The REP Professional Theatre Company will present Woody’s Order!, a true story about the choices we make as well as the importance of family and pursuing your dreams. Here at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, we believe that everybody deserves the opportunity to access our fresh and innovative performances, which is why we will be providing an American Sign Language (ASL) Interpretive Performance on Saturday, February 18th, 2017 at 2 p.m. in the Studio Theatre at the Pittsburgh Playhouse, 222 Craft Avenue.
Adult tickets are $24, senior tickets are $15, and student tickets are $10. Tickets can be purchased by calling the Pittsburgh Playhouse box office at 412-392-8000 or visiting www.pittsburghplayhouse.com. Group rates are also available for $15 for groups of 10 or more people.
Directed by John Shepard, Woody’s Order! will take the Studio Theatre stage with its heartfelt story about the sacrifices we make for the ones we love. This one woman show will make you nostalgic about childhood siblings as well as the surprises that life can bring. The show opens in 1964 Pittsburgh and connects to the audience with a story about a family coping with special needs and doing so in ways that were years ahead of their time. Talman tells listeners her intimately moving and hilarious journey of her life as well as her brother, Woody’s experience with Cerebral Palsy.
Thank you so much and please feel free to call me as well. (412) 392-8106.
